The debate continued at a recent G-20 Summit whether to continue to spend our way out of the Recession (Obama) or begin cutting government spending to reduce deficits and debt (Europe).
Economist Paul Krugman wrote yesterday (see blog post) that reducing spending will bring us the Third Depression and Ireland's example may back up his point.

I think government spending should continue eventhough we still in a recession the economy is slightly getting better. If we cut government spending than we will definitly have a depression because businesses wont be making money and people are not going to have money to spend. I dont think there is a point in trying to reduce deficit and bedt because we will always be in debt.
