I think Google's start up incubator is a great idea. I mean they have to be logical when it comes to their employees. I guess Google has yet to understand that "great minds think alike". These employees are given access at one of the most successful search engine company's. Does Google really think that they might not want to venture on their own and produce something similar? It is human nature. Some people feel the need to do their own thing and that is what happened here. The start up gig would be their best option if they plan on retaining those "genius" minds that embody employment for them.
