I read about something similar to this last year in Consumer Behavior. It touched on the subject of cubicles and the less of them in work environments. With more lap tops and flat screens, it seems that one can work in a smaller space. In MKT 245, I just finished a topic on Workstations that have a treadmill attached to the. Granted it only goes 2mph the employee can recharge or type while he is walking. Most companies are cutting back but from an employee stand point, I think I do my best work without excessive chatter and noise.
