Barriers to entry in a domestic market, creating artificially high prices through government intervention, etc.. I knew that bad things were in Greece, but I did not know of the rules and regulations that are inforced. How can a country hold back people from making money. In turn, if the citizens of a country begin to make money, they in turn must pay mor taxes to the country. I belive that they need to lift the barrriers they have on professions in Greece. I believe that they are the weekest of the EU, and must reform before total disaster happens.

I had no idea that these Countries had these rules. I don't get it I would think that they would allow whomever to work any where they wanted. I figure the more money that they make the more money that the government makes. I think that Greece should allow whomever to have their own business it should rely on you having to buy the license from the previous owner or who your related to. This is shocking....

I can tell from this article that this system has been in place for so long it's become a custom. That said it won't change in the next few years. Change will take collective enforcement by the government and the larger communities on a constant basis. Are they really willing?
