Talk about inspiration and motivation. Now this is the kind of story I like to hear. I think what Gerber did and is doing is amazing. I mean, there are so many entrepreneurs that give up after not succeeding upon the first try. I was really disappointed to see that his mother was not more supportive. I felt as if she was basically telling him to give up on his initial dream. Can you imagine if he had listened to her and got a 9-5 with an "office and a boss". I am sure he still would have those outstanding loans today. It is a great movement that he decided to venture out and take another chance with his last bit of finances. I would hope that many can read this article and be inspired by Mr. Gerber.

This article provided great exposure into the mind and determination of a young entrepreneur. According to the article "Mr. Gerber vowed to find a niche, reduce overhead and generally be more frugal." He did just that too. He was not all talk, he acted too. Gerber got an idea, found a competitive advantage, and figured out how to finance it successfully to make a profit. The article shows that entrepreneurs don't roll over and die when things don't work the first time, they keep on trying. This is a part of what it means to be an entrepreneur.
