Hello Dr. Avallone,

I have been keeping an eye on this trend for about a year now. I receive the Chain Drug Review to see how all mass companies are doing. Walgreens and CVS have both added grocery items to compete with the likes of Wal Mart and local grocery stores. Super Targets are doing very well but their products are higher. Walgreens stock beat out CVS last year too. Walgreen's cosmetic department is stepping up as some stores are being turned into boutiques and selling high end cosmetics and skin care to compete with retailers. These marketing goals are to be a one stop shopping experience as everyone is short on time.
